The Cooperative Society Agricultural Andalusian San Isidro founded on 1.954, is located in the locality of Castle of Locubín, province of Jaén, distant 68 km of the capital, in direction southwestern, municipality pertaining to the region of the South Mountain range of Jaén of which it occupies a central portion, being the activity main the virgin olive oil production, with an average production of about fifteen million kg of olive from which they are obtained on three million and average of kg of oil.
Castle of Locubín, traditional town Andalusian of a little more 5000 inhabitants, of old, white houses of lime, its relief is characterized for being mountainous, with the San Juan river, affluent of the Guadajoz, like most important of the town.
Submerged in perfect integration with the landscape, Locubín Castle shows the most beautiful stamps to us of the olive grove, of the ways and ways of the traditional Andalusian. In Castle of Locubín the culture of the olive grove has a great weight, like in all the municipalities of the zone, but they emphasize its ample kitchen gardens dedicated to the culture of all class of fruit trees.
